Iceberg Enterprises
In the late
1980s Iceberg Enterprises started as a small rental fleet of refrigerated trailers
within Iceberg’s sister company,
CT Power. The operation grew slowly through the early 1990s. In
1994 the focus was
shifted into this segment of the business. The rental fleet began growing steadily through improved customer
services and improved fleet quality. A part of this new strategy was the creation of a stand alone
brand, Iceberg Rentals. The effort resulted in sustained growth for many years.In 1998 a small operation within the sister company, CT Power, was branded under the Iceberg name. The Iceberg Climate Control brand was formed to encompass and promote the transport (bus and recreational vehicle), and cab (trucks and heavy equipment) air conditioning services of the company. The sales and services of the climate control group formulate a customized approach for our customers by combining resources and expertise from a multitude of industry related suppliers.
In 1999 a used equipment sales department was formed to complement existing Iceberg operations. As the growth continued into yet another market segment, the company was incorporated under the name, Iceberg Enterprises. Subsequently, the Iceberg Enterprises name is also the used equipment sales department’s brand. The used equipment sales department primarily sells trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.
